This project, "Fuck Na Do," is a powerful example of how I can deliver high-impact creative work under intense pressure and rigorous logistical constraints. As the sole Director and Cinematographer, I was responsible for all creative, technical, and logistical aspects of this production, demonstrating my capability to lead projects from conception to completion.
The entire music video was conceptualized, shot, and wrapped within a single 24-hour window, with principal photography occurring over one intensive night at a private location. This demanded exceptional efficiency and organizational skill. I personally managed all pre-production logistics, including scheduling, securing the private location, coordinating talent, and acquiring all necessary gear and props. This required meticulous planning to ensure every minute on set contributed directly to the final vision, showcasing my strong project management abilities.
Creative Vision & Visual Strategy
The core creative challenge was visually translating the artist's theme of an identity crisis and profound isolation. My solution was to choose a visceral, unsettling aesthetic, prioritizing Point-of-View (POV) cinematography captured using a camera vest mount paired with a fisheye lens. This combination created a distorted, claustrophobic perspective that immediately immerses the viewer into the character's unstable headspace. To intensify this narrative tension, I employed fast-paced, jarring editing that mirrored the character's internal turmoil, effectively transforming a tight shoot schedule into a deliberate stylistic device
Production Logistics & Risk Management
A key visual element required setting a couch on fire, a high-risk practical effect that demanded uncompromised safety and legal compliance. The problem was not just sourcing the perfect, disposable couch, but executing the controlled burn safely and legally within our tight timeline. I leveraged my resourcefulness and collaborative skills by successfully finding the perfect prop via Facebook Marketplace. More critically, I ensured complete regulatory compliance, proactively securing all required permissions for the controlled burn. I then established a robust safety protocol, designating a safety manager and ensuring immediate access to a first aid kit, fire blanket, sand, and water. This demonstrates my commitment to team safety and responsible production practices.
This project proves my ability to blend creative vision with flawless execution, showing that I can solve complex on-set problems, manage critical timelines, and uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
